On August 30th, 2009 Ray and I got the biggest surprise of our lives - we found out I was pregnant. We're both extremely excited to finally be able to welcome a little life into this world, but we were sad that we wouldn't be able to share it with all of our friends and family members.


Our solution? Well, aside from the idea of selling everything and moving back out West, we decided that setting up this website was another wonderful option. Not only would it be quicker and easier than cramming 5 cats, 2 dogs, a hamster, a fish and a pregnant woman into a car for a 3000 mile trip, but it would be available to everyone near and far and allow all of you to actively participate in this wonderful event.


So please, take a few minutes and do a bit of exploration. You'll find links to the journal, which I'll be using to document all the wonderful milestones (and other not-so-momentous moments) of this pregnancy. The Photo Gallery will be updated with photos of our little one, as well as some photos of us - if you really insist. The Fun & Games section will include fun things like polls (such as guess the gender and due date) and any other little baby-shower type games I can adapt to an electronic format. Finally the Registry section is pretty self-explanatory - our little guy or girl is going to need some things and this will be everyone's first opportunity to spoil them rotten.
